So I had the sudden urge this weekend to go and try out a micro-4/3s camera and see what all the hype was about. For those not familiar with micro-4/3 cameras, they're a system of cameras and lenses that boast the ability to give you great photos but in a much smaller package than a DSLR. Thinking that this would be an awesome solution for situations like business trips and parties, where I want great pictures without having to haul my DSLR gear, I gave the Olympus E-PL1 and their 17mm f/2.8 a shot. These, and the series of shots to follow, are JPEGs straight from the camera. (Note: I seemed to really like their "Art Filters": diorama, pin-hole, and grainy B&W in particular.) Enjoy!
